24/7 Access Policy

At FG Athletic, we offer 24/7 gym access to provide flexibility for our members. With this privilege comes the responsibility to ensure the safety, security, and respect of our community and facility. By accessing the gym outside staffed hours, you agree to the following:

 

1. Waiver Requirement

  • All members must sign a 24/7 Access Waiver prior to using the gym outside staffed hours.

  • Guests, friends, or family may only enter if they have:

    • Signed the required waiver before entry; and

    • Paid for their session in advance.

  • Any member found bringing unauthorised guests may have their 24/7 access revoked.

 

2. Personal Responsibility & Safety

  • You acknowledge that by training during unstaffed hours, you are choosing to work out unsupervised and accept the associated risks.

  • Make safe training choices, especially when lifting heavy or performing high-risk movements.

  • Please familiarise yourself with specific movements in the waiver which are not allowed to be performed when training alone. 

  • Part-taking in any of these movements may result in your 24/7 access being revoked. 

 

3. Security & Lock-Up

  • As a 24/7 member, you are responsible for ensuring the gym is secured after you leave.

  • This includes:

    • Locking all doors securely.

    • Ensuring no unauthorised persons remain inside.

  • Any security breaches, damage, or losses resulting from failure to follow proper lock-up procedures will be the responsibility of the member involved.

 

4. Breach of Policy

Failure to comply with this policy may result in:

  • Suspension or cancellation of your 24/7 access.

  • Recovery of costs associated with damages or security breaches caused by negligence.

 

By signing the 24/7 Access Waiver, you agree to comply with this policy and accept responsibility for your actions while using the facility outside staffed hours.

Membership Cancellation & Hold Policy

At FG Athletic, we value our members and aim to provide flexibility while maintaining fairness for our community and operations. Please review our cancellation and hold terms below:

1. Membership Cancellations

  • All cancellations require a minimum of 14 days’ written notice prior to your next billing date.

  • Notice must be submitted via email or membership cancellation form available at reception.

  • Membership fees will continue to be charged if less than 14 days’ notice is provided.

  • Any outstanding fees must be settled before your cancellation can be finalised.

 

2. Membership Holds / Pauses

  • Members may request to pause or hold their membership for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 8 weeks within a 12-month period, or subject to approval by the gym owner.

  • A minimum of 14 days’ written notice is required for all hold requests.

  • Holds are designed for circumstances such as travel, illness, or injury.

  • During the hold period, your membership will be frozen and no payments will be deducted.

 

3. Reactivating Memberships

  • After your hold period ends, your membership will automatically resume at your existing rate and billing cycle.

  • If you wish to extend your hold beyond the maximum period, a new membership may be required upon your return.

 

4. Important Notes

  • No refunds will be issued for payments processed before the required 14-day notice period.

  • We encourage all members to review their membership agreement before submitting cancellation or hold requests.
